Sheffield Digital Campus has an on-site, resilient ducting infrastructure providing the platform from which ICT applications can be delivered. All occupiers will have the ability to choose their preferred telecoms provider with the building served by a minimum of 2 dedicated telecoms entry points, spaced apart to ensure resilience of supply.
Sheffield Digital Campus benefits from an access point into the new and developing secure data network called Northern Net. This network extends across the North of England and provides a minimum of 100Mbs fibre connectivity for the delivery of large sensitive data files securely from point to point.
The Sheffield Digital Campus is home to 4ip; a new £10 million fund for digital and new media businesses in the Region. The fund has been established to stimulate public service digital media and to encourage new ideas for websites, games and mobile services. 4ip is collaboration between Channel 4, Screen Yorkshire and Yorkshire Forward.

Digital region
A next generation broadband network is to be constructed across South Yorkshire over the next 3 years, reaching 600,000 homes and businesses in the region. It will be designed to carry data rather than voice traffic to suit today's needs providing greater bandwidth and guaranteed bandwidth to users. This will be a high profile pilot for next generation broadband access across the UK and beyond and a significant 'test bed' infrastructure for use by market leaders in the digital economy.
