The current developments - the creation of two impressively designed buildings, each offering 50,000 square feet of prestigious office space - are taking place on Phase I. This area of development, which is immediately adjacent to Ponds Forge and the Bus Interchange, will also incorporate a further two buildings of a similar size.
The two buildings currently under construction will be ready for occupation in the autumn of 2008. Building 2.0 is designed for complete or split occupation while the other - the Electric Works - has already been pre-let to Sheffield City Council to offer serviced office accommodation for smaller companies in the creative and digital industries.
Sheffield Digital Campus is a joint development between GMI Property Company and Valad Property Group. It is supported by Yorkshire Forward, Creative Sheffield, Objective One and English Partnerships. Construction of Building 2.0 Concourse Way, like all phases of Sheffield Digital Campus, is being carried out by GMI Construction.
